Wonderful words, Emily! I always face January with a sense of dread, but thank you for reminding me of the magic. Thanking God with you. Cheers to bone density!
Em, I can envision those 🐝 pots on your window sill bursting with delicate green herbs. I loved those when Lauren chose them and I love that you value them because she did. I'm smiling through my tears. 🤟🏻
So beautiful! I'm home sick today, but reading this made me feel like I was at church! I absolutely agree with honoring the tears and am glad you didn't need them for those broken pots. Also, I recently bought that same exact weight vest. Although I have yet to take it out of the box and actually wear it, you are inspiring me that I can do it!
Thanks so much Christine! I'm eager to hear about your experience with the vest. Turns out it is a great tool for working out AND a great metaphor for writing. Double win for us!

Thanks for reading Ashleigh! And here's to just 28 days of February!
Another great list! Your snow day sounds like it was quintessentially perfect! And your story about your sister's planters was so touching.
The snow day was a total surprise and delight, especially with the leftover church lady lasagna!

Such a beautiful read. And good reminder that crying is good for us!
